Downtown Revitalization is Going Strong

Pekin Main Street is committed to the success of downtown revitalization and business support. By partnering with the City of Pekin, we are able to offer businesses programs to better assist building owners in revitalizing their building. These programs include Facade Grants and Commercial Retail / Upper Story Loft Living incentives. Some Eligible Loan uses include upgrading electical systems, plumbing, HVAC, sprinkler systems, elevators, walls, plaster, paint, framing, flooring, door installation, kitchen and bath, upgrade of windows, and architectural renderings and consultations.

Together we can all enjoy the benefits of a thriving downtown district.

Join us for lunchtime concerts on the Tazewell County Courthouse Lawn on Thursdays and Fridays. Performances feature the sights and sounds of Tazewell County K-12 students. Bring your lunch or grab lunch downtown and enjoy!

Pekin Main Street Farmer's Market

Thursdays, 4:00-6:00, beginning in mid-June through September

Our farmer's market season will be here before we know it! If you are interested in being a vendor at the market, vendor packets will be available in April. If you have questions, please contact us! We will be accepting LINK and WIC/Senior Benefit this year.

Friday, July 27th and Saturday, July 28th

Two days of motorized mayhem and fun in downtown Pekin. Friday night, it's all about the motorcycles and Saturday is for the cars. A fun family activity that has been going strong for 8 years!
